Nicha is currently studying in the 11th grade at Choate Rosemary Hall, a boarding school in Connecticut. She has been part of the AROThailand team since 8th grade and has shown continued enthusiasm in leading the cause. Her interest lies in addressing the educational disparity in Thailand and hopes to bridge the economic gap through 21st-century youth empowerment in robotics. Nicha previously worked as the fundraising manager, setting up platforms and events to raise funds and broadcast the cause to donors all over the world.

When asked about her favorite aspect of being a part of the organization, Nicha replied, “It is definitely the most rewarding when you see students from all sorts of backgrounds become inspired to learn how to think, design, and problem solve in a way that’s not taught in their education system. Robotics is more than simply learning the parts and programming; it is a way for students to achieve independent, hands-on learning, teaching them perseverance, problem-solving, and independence, aspects that are currently lost in the local Thai education system.”

Nicha hopes to expand the organization to a wider range of schools and expand its values to teach the students how they can apply their knowledge of robotics to other fields outside of the classroom while maintaining the core basic MicroBit curriculum.
