Summer 2020
Partnered Schools

The coronavirus pandemic hindered our ability to teach. Despite the pandemic, our team was able to adapt and switch everything to online learning. We developed an introductory robotics curriculum (ten lessons), a study manual, and recorded video lessons to expand AROThailand’s teaching capabilities. Moreover, our aim was also to make sure each student learned the way they felt most comfortable. Video lessons along with the study manual were delivered to our partnered schools at the end of the summer.

The coronavirus pandemic hindered our ability to teach. Despite the pandemic, our team was able to adapt and switch everything to online learning. Moreover, our aim was also to make sure each student learned the way they felt most comfortable. Video lessons along with the study manual were delivered to our partnered schools at the end of the summer.
With the help of our experienced students from Wat Phasuk schools, we organized fundraising events, raising money for the required equipment and Lego Mindstorm sets that will be delivered to local schools. As a result of this fundraiser AROThailand was able to raise over 112,000 baht and buy lego mindstorm sets, donating them to Grade 5-9 students at Chonprathan school.
Equally important, we sent six of our experienced students from Wat Phasuk Maneechak school to compete in the 2020 Thailand Robotics Battle. Although we did not make it to the final round, our students learned a lot from the experience which will lead them to further success in the future.
